Who can rent
- Minimum age 21.
- Category B licence held for at least 1 year.
- Valid driving licence and identity document, both original.
- Minimum rental period: 3 days (72 hours).
driveXplore obligations
- Delivery of the car on the agreed date, at the agreed time and place, clean and with a full tank.
- 24/7 roadside assistance throughout the rental.
- Replacement of the car within a maximum of 24 hours in case of a major fault.
- Proportional refund within 14 days if replacement is not possible.
Your obligations
- Only drivers listed in the contract may drive the car (the first additional driver is free, 15€ for each further driver).
- No off-road use. No rideshare or taxi use.
- Return the car in the condition you received it, clean and with a full tank.
- No smoking in the car.
Delivery, return and delays
The car arrives clean, inside and out, with a full tank. Return is under the same conditions.
- Delivery to Otopeni: 20€ per leg.
- Handover or pickup outside working hours: 10€.
- Late return: 3€ per hour (the first hour is free).
- Missing fuel (or no fuel receipt): we retain the value of a full tank.
- Damaged wheel or tyre: 50€ service fee plus the cost of repair.
- Cleaning needed / excessive dirt: from 20€ (standard) up to 200€ (professional cleaning).
- Smoking in the car: 200€ plus the cleaning cost.
Payment and advance
The total rental cost is paid in advance, by card or cash. Rates exclude fuel, traffic fines and bridge tolls incurred during the rental. To reserve the car, we ask for a 15% advance.
For early returns, you receive the difference as a voucher (valid for 12 months) or cash.
Deposit and insurance
The deposit is a flat 50€. We do not block large amounts on your card. Full insurance (CASCO) is included in the price.
Extension and termination
For an extension, tell us at least 24 hours in advance and pay for the new period. The contract ends automatically at expiry. Early termination: return the car within 12 hours of the decision.
Damage and accidents
Report damage immediately. For damage caused by an unknown third party, police authorisation is required. Procedures differ depending on liability — we guide you through it.
Dispute resolution
We try to resolve issues amicably first. If that is not possible, the competent courts are those in București.
